PART 4: Identity Play
When you think of stuff to post on your profile, who is the main audience you’re
communicating to? Who are other potential audiences that might be viewing, but that you might not think of when you post things?
When I post things in my facebook profile I always think that my friends and family will see it. I know that other people will not . When I post pictures there is always a choice to leave other people see it or just you friends. All the pictures I put in to my profile are private( only for my friends.) Even do I can make my pictures private some people can see them when their friend is tagged. I think this is an error that Facebook made about privacy. Many people that are not your friends can see this pictures. Some examples are friends of your friends, or other people that just like to see pictures of other profiles. Some of this people are sometimes obssesed with the person. the profile is something personal so I have to be carefull in what people can see it.
I agree with you and I thinkn most of the class. Although we have privacy on things, facebooks privacy is not 100% acurate.
ResponderEliminarI agree as well, facebook privacy isn't AS safe as we think it is. However, I don't think that pictures will have a big effect on a predator or a person as long as they can't access:

b)your information
c)your email
for example, my name in facebook could be Anna Banana, and that's what most teens do. I say I'm from New Zeland. Here, in Blogger I'm from Atlanta. Where am I really from? How old? Male or female? No one knows.
